Regeneration
Biology manufactures gamma irradiated fetal bovine serum using a controlled
process to apply a dose of irradiation between 25 - 50kGy to our premium fetal
bovine serum. Most of the typical viral contaminants of bovine serum are
readily inactivated at this irradiation range. We work directly with our
customers to configure gamma irradiation lot sizes that meet their targeted
irradiation specification, while minimizing the cost of the gamma irradiation
process. Advantages of Gamma Irradiation:
- Clean; no potential for
residual contaminants - Widely accepted by
pharmaceutical and research industries - Accepted by regulatory agencies
- Minimal effect on product
performance - Effective virus inactivation
- Scalable to any size serum
